(Singapore 30 March 2023) After three and a half years of facelift, Shaw Plaza Balestier will reopen on Saturday.
Located in Balestier an area that doesn’t have MRT stations, the newly-refurbished mall will include new features and experiences to draw shoppers and visitors.
It is also home to the only cinema in the area, Shaw Theatres Balestier, which is an 11-screen cineplex.
Dreamers, a family-friendly cinema where parents and children can watch family-friendly movies in a conducive environment with softer lighting and audio, is slated to open at a later date.
The mall’s third floor also features a sky terrace, landscaped with lush greenery. There will also be an outdoor play area equipped with a climber, mini zip line and slides.
During the forcoming weekend, Shaw Plaza will be hosting various activities, from a kiddie variety show, caricature sessions, balloon sculpture show, and games with prizes.
