(Singapore, 9 Dec 2022) Through 3 months of nomination and selection, Fortune Times, a Chinese business magazine in Singapore, held the award ceremony for the 8th Annual Fortune Times Awards on 9 December 2022 at St. Regis Singapore.
Launched in 2015, the Fortune Times Awards are presented to the influential figures, innovative and inspiring leaders who have made outstanding business performance and contribution to the society in recognition of the excellent leadership, advancement and achievements in Asia.
This year, there are five recipients, from Singapore, Indonesia and China winning Fortune Times Award. The background of winners are from make-up and beauty product, renewable energy, office furniture, education, computer science and engineering.
As the COVID restriction lifted, the Fortune Times finally holds the award ceremony in full on-site event for the first time since 2019, about 200 guests including diplomatic, investment guru, established business figures and scholars, representatives from mainstream associations and organizations attend the event.
Among the five winners of Fortune Times Awards 2022, there are two individual winners:
- Asia’s Most Influential Entrepreneur Awards——Mr. David Chiem, Founder and Chairman of the MindChamps Preschool Singapore Pte Ltd;
- Asia’s Most Influential Scientist Awards——Prof Lam Kwok Yan, Associate Vice President (Strategy and Partnerships) and Professor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore;

Hunan Deartree Circular Furniture Co., Ltd.. awarded as Asia’s Most Promising Unicorn Awards The theme of this year’s award ceremony is “Riding Digital Wealth with Wisdom” which reflects the insights and philosophies in the gloomy global context. His Excellency Mr Suryo Pratomo, Ambassador of Republic of Indonesia Embassy in Singapore, is invited to grace the award ceremony as the Guest of Honor.

“Fortune Times has gone through 18 years. It has had glory in the past, and it has also experienced the great impact brought by new media, but it has always adhered to the concept that content is king.”
It is the 8th Fortune Times Awards. Mr Jim Rogers, the international investment guru attend the grand ceremony, He said, the Fortune Times award is a good recognition, it stimulate the people to chase the dream and do better in future. Fortune is important to success.
Before the ceremony, a thematic panel discussion “China Economic Outlook 2023”, as part of the event’s tradition, is held, the panelists including Dr. LU Ting, Chief China Economist, Nomura, Prof. Alvin SHEN, CEO & Managing Partner of Broader Way Investment International Holding Limited, and Dr. TAN Kok Hui, Executive Director of Persistent Assets. During the hour-long discussion, three panelists, all with wide recognition in various business-related industries, share their insights on how China uses its advantages in technology and internet to impact the world economy.
