(Singapore, 1st October 2024) The Singapore Venture and Private Capital Association (SVCA) announced on September 27, 2024, that they raised SGD 15,000 in support of Club Rainbow (Singapore), benefiting children with chronic illnesses and their families.

Established in 1992, SVCA was formed to promote the development and interests of the private capital industry. SVCA aims to promote the collective interests of its members and contribute to the development of Singapore as a leading global hub for private capital fund management.

The Singapore Venture and Private Capital Association (SVCA) organized two events to raise funds for Club Rainbow, an NGO providing services to chronically ill children and their families.

Hopeful Hearts Raffle: A Step Toward a Brighter Tomorrow

At SVCA’s 32nd Annual Gala & Awards Dinner on 26 September, SVCA conducted the ‘Hopeful Hearts Raffle’ in partnership with CDH Investments. SVCA stated in the press release that every dollar raised was donated to Club Rainbow, enabling them to continue their incredible work supporting children in need.

Golf Day: Making an Impact, One Swing at a Time

SVCA’s 2nd Annual Golf Day was a sporting event that raised funds for Club Rainbow. SVCA stated in the press release that part of the event’s proceeds went directly to the charity, ensuring that every swing contributed to making life a little brighter for these children.

Teo Siang Loong, Executive Director of Club Rainbow, stated in the press release, “We are deeply grateful to be the beneficiary of SVCA’s charity initiatives this year. At Club Rainbow, we are committed to supporting children with chronic illnesses, many of whom have special needs and disabilities, along with their families. Our programmes provide not just essential services, but also hope and empowerment, enabling these children and families to live dignified lives and contribute to society. “
