(Singapore, 13 Jan 2025)The stage is set for an electrifying showdown as 16 of the best Counter-Strike teams from across Asia-Pacific converge in Shanghai to battle for glory at the ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND CS Asia Open 2024. The grand final, running from 14 to 19 January 2025, promises to be a heart-pounding celebration of esports excellence and the best CS has to offer.

16 Teams Rise Above 7,500 Elite CS Players in the APAC Region.

The 16 qualified teams representing the APAC region have earned their place after an intense three-month journey through local qualifiers, where over 1,500 teams and 7,500 players battled for a shot at glory and APAC domination.

The 2024 lineup marks a significant milestone, with the number of qualified teams doubling from the previous eight for the 2023 edition, reflecting the tournament’s growing scale and prestige. This extraordinary participation underscores ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND’s status as a premier and influential event, celebrated not only in APAC but across the global Counter-Strike community.

Now, these elite teams from Vietnam, Mongolia, Australia, Thailand, China, India, Singapore, Korea, the Philippines, and the Middle East are set to ignite the stage with electrifying Counter-Strike 2 action. The teams will compete for a total prize pool of USD $100,000, doubling the previous amount of USD $50,000 in 2023. Fans across the region can look forward to an unforgettable display of skill, strategy, and passion as the competition reaches its peak.
